In this short video, Adrian from Hello Yarn demonstrates Navajo plying. Watch closely to see how this chain-plying technique works.

Navajo plying is a bit tricky at first, but it’s a fun way to make a ‘3-ply’ yarn from a handspun single. One of the great things about navajo plying is that if you have spun singles that have color sequences, this technique will keep the colors in sequence, which is extremely difficult to do if you’re plying with three different singles.
