This video shows how to knit a scarf using an interesting, yet easy, patterned stitch. The scarf uses some beautiful yarn from Manos del Uruguay, but any wool yarn would probably do. The scarf uses the following stitches: knit, purl, slip, psso, purl two together.

If you can’t find Manos del Uruguay in a store near you, you may be able to find some on eBay.
